Meet Our Trust & Estate Planning Team

Marietta Luellen, J.D., CAP®, CExP®

Marietta Luellen serves as Bridges Trust Executive Vice President (EVP) of Trust and is responsible for the development, growth and leadership of the Trust companies within Bridges Trust, Philanthropy and Family Office Services. Marietta is an accomplished professional with more than 25 years of experience covering estate planning, estate administration, wealth management, and trust services. Her focus as EVP of Trust is on providing guidance and service for an affluent client base, leading the development and execution of the growth strategy, and upholding the integrity of the client value proposition.

Holding both a Bachelor of Science from Colorado State University and Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University, Marietta has also achieved the Certified Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®) designation and Certified Exit Planner (CExP®) designation. Furthermore, Marietta is a Nebraska Bar Foundation Fellow, and is active in the Nebraska State Bar Association, the Omaha Estate Planning Council and serves on the Phoenix Academy Board of Directors.

Miranda Nielsen, CTFA, AEP®

Miranda is Vice President and Trust Officer with Bridges Trust. Miranda is experienced serving in the trust and estate business with over 20 years in wealth management. She enjoys building rapport with clients and collaborating to tailor strategies designed to their individual needs.

Miranda earned her BS in Business Administration from Bellevue University and graduated from ABA Trust School with honors. She holds the Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) designation by the American Bankers Association® and the Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP®) designation by the National Association of Estate Planners & Council (NAEPC). Miranda is a Nebraska Children’s Home Society Trustee and also sits on various Committees for NCHS. She is also on the Friends Board for Habitat for Humanity of Omaha and is involved with the Habitat for Humanity of Omaha Women’s Power Luncheon Committee, and Habitat for Humanity of Omaha Brew Haha Restaurant Committee, Co-Chair. She is also a Member of the Omaha Estate Planning Council. 

Heidi Coatsworth, Trust Officer

Heidi is a Trust Administrator for Bridges Trust of South Dakota (BTC-SD). Heidi is responsible for the administration of BTC-SD trusts, including administrative and fiduciary responsibilities, as well as helping to ensure compliance with South Dakota trust laws.  

A successful interior designer-turned-trust administrator, Heidi’s leadership and management experience enables her to help meet client needs and provide a valuable client experience. Heidi has a designation as a Certified Fiduciary and Investment Risk Specialist (CFIRS) and is currently working on earning her Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation. Heidi is an active member of the South Dakota Trust Association (SDTA) and a member of multiple committees within the SDTA.  

Jack Rice,

Trust Officer

Jack is a Trust Officer with Bridges Trust. Jack utilizes his legal knowledge and experience to serve clients. In his role, Jack oversees fiduciary decision making as well as collaborates with relationship managers to provide support regarding beneficiary education and communication. Furthermore, Jack’s ability to develop and maintain client relationships helps enhance the growth and development of Bridges Trust. 

Jack earned his BA in History and Political Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, as well as a Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska College of Law. He is an active member of the Omaha Bar Association and the Nebraska State Bar Association.
